Founding and managing partner Michael Weinstock leads the W&S Litigation Department.  He has over 30 years of experience as a trial attorney in Atlanta, and Michael has succeeded in obtaining seven figures or more in monetary results for clients in 25 cases through trial or alternative dispute resolutions such as mediation or arbitration.  Michael’s practice covers a plaintiff and defendant practice in all forms of commercial litigation, real estate litigation, personal injury, domestic litigation, wrongful death, and professional negligence.  He has tried to conclusion more than one hundred and thirty jury trials, and had engaged in hundreds of motions and thousands of depositions throughout the United States, both in federal and state courts.

Partner Jan P. Cohen joined Weinstock & Scavo in 1999.  Mr. Cohen’s primary focus of practice is in the area of personal injury, wrongful death, professional negligence, products liability and premises liability.  Mr. Cohen has extensive trial experience as well as a background in assisting clients with resolving matters through alternative dispute resolution.
