Louis Cohan Appointed to Atlanta Bar Association Board of Directors

Louis R. Cohan, a partner in the Atlanta office of Weinstock & Scavo, was appointed as an At-Large Member of the Atlanta Bar Association Board of Directors for 2008-2009.  The Atlanta Bar Association is the largest voluntary bar association in the southeast, with a membership of approximately 6,300. 

Louis joined Weinstock & Scavo in 1993, and became partner in 1998.  His practice consists of Commercial Litigation, Labor & Employment Litigation, Personal Injury, Real Estate and Construction Litigation, and Community Association Litigation.

Louis is or has been a member of the American Bar Association, the Georgia Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Atlanta Bar Association.  He has been a member of MENSA, is very active in the community, has served as a Board member for many charitable organizations, has lectured on employment law to lawyers, employers, and employees, and has litigated across the country.
