Jan P. Cohen is a partner in the firm’s litigation group. Mr. Cohen joined the firm in 1999 and became a share holder in 2002. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cohen was a partner in the Atlanta law firm of Chambers Mabry McCleland and Brooks where he served a two year term as managing partner, after commencing his practice there in 1984. Mr. Cohen’s primary focus of practice is in the area of personal injury, wrongful death, professional negligence, products liability and premises liability. Mr. Cohen has extensive trial experience as well as a background in assisting clients with resolving matters through alternative dispute resolution.
Mr. Cohen received his JD Degree from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 1984, after having received his BA Degree in 1981 from the University of Georgia. He is admitted to practice in all Georgia State and Superior Courts, The Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, The Northern District of Georgia, The Middle District of Georgia and The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
