Jennifer Geada Fernández is an associate in the firm’s litigation group, practicing in the Atlanta office.  Ms. Fernández’s practice focuses on the representation of clients in the area of domestic relations litigation, including issues related to divorce, alimony, child custody and support, separate maintenance, post-decree modification and enforcement, and paternity and legitimization.  Ms. Fernández also practices in the areas of Wills, Trusts and Estates, including estate administration and litigation with respect to the validity of wills.  

In addition to her primary focus, Ms. Fernández represents client in commercial disputes, including business litigation, construction litigation, and contractual disputes.  Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Ms. Fernández also represented financial institutions clients in business litigation and collection disputes.  She was born in Miami, Florida and is a native Spanish speaker.  

Ms. Fernández received her J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2003 and her B.A. in Spanish Literature from Davidson College in 1999.  She is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and is a member in good standing with the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and in all Georgia Superior and State Courts.  Ms. Fernández is an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Family Law Section, and the Young Lawyers Division of the Atlanta Bar Association.  She is also involved the Davidson Alumni Recruitment Team (D.A.R.T.) in Atlanta, an extension of the Office of Admissions for Davidson College.
