Steven M. Winter has been a partner in the firm since 1994. His practice includes the representation of private companies in mergers and acquisitions, financing and other complex business transactions, hospitality law including alcohol licensing, commercial and residential real estate development and land use planning. He is also active in community association law representing condominium, town home and community associations. Steven has spoken at continuing education seminars for attorneys and is a frequent author in various trade publication covering topics such as real estate development, conversion condominiums, business transactions and community association law. He is a past president of the Georgia Chapter of Community Association Institute and remains an active member, as well as a member of the National Association of Alcohol Beverage Licensing Attorneys.
Steven is a native of Atlanta, and received a B.B.A. degree in 1984 from the University of Georgia and his law degree in 1987 from the University of Georgia. He has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1987, and is admitted to the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia
